Short bridles, high-end construction, and our new Bridge Bar create a Parawing that feels instantly familiar if you come from wingfoiling with a VAYU: direct, calm, and predictable. The PYRO you will go upwind with confidence, stash it in seconds, and surf downwind with nothing in your hands. Developed and tested in the Columbia River Gorge, Fuerteventura, and Hawaii.The PYRO is made for riders who want less gear in the way and more connection to the ocean.

Bridles & Lines

PYRO’s bridle system is built around one goal: maximum control with minimum clutter.

  • Short center bridles (approx. 1.3–1.5 m)
    Tuned per size for fast kill, clean recovery and reduced tangling. Shorter overall system = easier stash and easier relaunch.
  • Clean A/B/C/D layout with brake (Br) risers
    Five rib attachment positions distribute load smoothly across the canopy without over-complicating the line map.
  • Separated center A’s and outer A’s
    Center A risers are grouped for efficient “kill” and pull-in, while outer A’s sit separately so tip sections can flag and de-load, making it easier to pull the wing to you under tension.
  • Smooth, color-coded lines
    DSL70 and PPSLS lines with clear color coding make sorting and orientation intuitive when unpacking or stowing.
  • Straight, snag-free runs
    From the center A riser to the canopy, lines are kept as straight and clean as possible to reduce friction points when you slide your hand up to the wing.

The result is a bridle that feels simple in the hands but is tuned for real-world use: less thinking, fewer tangles, more riding.

Bridge Bar & Control System

The PYRO Bridge Bar is your connection to the canopy, designed to be direct, clean, stash-friendly, and very easy to maintain.

  • Bridge line architecture
    Each rib group has its own leader on the bridge, so line tension increases smoothly and sequentially as you sheet in. No pulleys, sliders or uneven loads.
  • Full-length usable grip
    With the center hardware removed from the hand area, you can slide and reposition your hands anywhere along the bar without hitting a stopper.
  • Curved molded bar ends
    Reduce line wrapping and give your fingers a comfortable, secure reference point, especially when riding one-handed or flagged.
  • Short, size-tuned bar lengths
    Bar length is scaled to canopy size and kept compact to make on-foil stash and pack-down easier, even on bigger sizes.
    Bar Legths: 2.5 = 275mm, 3.2 = 315mm, 4.0 = 350mm, 5.0 = 390mm
  • Smooth angle-of-attack range
    The bridge configuration gives you a long, usable sheeting range: you can pull on power or dump it without instantly stalling the canopy.
  • Easy maintenance
    Easy maintenance thanks to a fully modular, easy-to-replace bar and bridle system.
